So yesterday I posted about ending the cycle of abusive relationships in a person's personal life and finding the healthy one.  

Well later in the day, I read this post from author Olevia Henderson. 


Oh, it blessed my soul. It was also the perfect compliment to the post from yesterday.  She came in through a different entrance and I was so here for that! 


I thank her so much for allowing me to share her words with readers. 


Olevia Henderson:  

I thought I wanted another man in life but last night I asked God to let me know if I am ready and what he told me was this so babyyyy if God gave me this I had to give it to you.

He said Being single does not make you ready to be in a relationship anymore than sitting in a garage makes you a car. 






The Wrong Definition of "Ready"

Ready does not mean "Tired of being lonely" 

Ready does not mean "Medication for emotional insecurity" 

Ready does not mean "Need to be completed" 

Ready does not mean "I'm nobody unless I'm with somebody" 

Ready does not mean "I want to be married."


What "Ready" means 

It means being beyond the place of needing someone.

Ready means being in a place where you can compliment the right someone. 

In fact, getting to "ready"  takes work and unless you are 
"ready" for the right reason, stay single.
