A great way to do so is to replace negative habits with positive ones, which holds especially true for domestic abuse survivors. Want to learn how to use a period of transition as a way to better your life?


Make Healthier Choices

The ultimate goal in your journey is to make healthier choices. Whether you want to prioritize healthy eating, more movement, or improved mental health, you can be guaranteed that healthier choices will help you replace negative ones. One way to make healthy choices to replace bad habits is by setting small, achievable goals.

For example, if you want to eat healthier, start by adding one extra serving of fruits or vegetables to your diet each day. If you want to be more physically active, add 10 minutes of moderate-intensity activity to your daily routine.

In addition, a career transition may be vital if you feel stuck in your career, as it can provide some much-needed healthy change.
