I wholeheartedly believe in the power and necessity of gratitude.

I practice mindful gratitude on a daily basis.

Gratitude is at the core of my faith and belief system. My default setting in life is gratitude to God for everything that he has done and keeps doing for me. Because of God, I get new miracles every day.

To be clear:  People are not God.

THEREFORE, I will not passively have gratitude to participants and beneficiaries of oppression. I will not be grateful to any oppressor for any reason. When it comes to trauma, abuse, and oppression; less is not more.

The standard is this:      No oppression. No trauma. No abuse.

May we meet it and exceed it.
