An assumption is a belief or statement taken for granted without proof or evidence. It is a starting point for reasoning or discussion but may not be explicitly stated or questioned. Assumptions can influence decisions, judgments, and perspectives.
Assumptions Among Voting Citizens
Some women assume that "knowing what a woman is" or common sense acknowledgment of male and female human beings.
Equals =
This person or group supports women's rights.
This person or group believes in equality, justice, safety, health, and advancement for women like me.
This person or group believes in equality, justice, safety, health, and advancement for all women.
These are dangerous assumptions especially. Many people around the world hold deeply outdated beliefs about women's rights and worth. People with a limited view of women's importance as individual human beings are among them. For too many, a woman's value and worth are unjustly measured by her ability to give birth and raise children.

And I say this as a faith-filled (not perfect) woman. People have a right to believe whatever they choose, but individual human rights are based on facts. They must be.
As women, we must insist that spiritual, religious, or metaphysical beliefs do not infringe upon women's human rights. Believe what you want, but your beliefs should have no bearing on my rights as a Black female human being. It is a potentially deadly mistake to assume that those who share this view—fully or in part—also recognize women's inherent power, value, and worth.
People on the right, left, and in between have a lot of "beliefs" about women. Fine.
As long as all of you keep all of your "beliefs" off of the rights of women and girls.
The GOP has made it known that they believe in and support white women who are in heterosexual relationships so that they can give birth to more babies. If that relationship or childbearing kills her, oh well.
As long as men are happy right?
And if not, there's always their GOP-protected ability to purchase a mass assault weapon and wage war on innocent citizens.
