Trump losing it? See Harris' record-breaking government experience debunked
It baffles and outrages me how much more qualified women in United States politics have to be than their male counterparts. In this clip legal expert and MSNBC host compares the political experience of presidential candidates from John F. Kennedy to Kamala Harris.
The fact that women who have experience, education, and disposition that far exceeds male candidates yet have to work so hard to once again prove themselves, ought to outrage all women. No matter what socially acceptable words and phrases people say, this is what people think of us too.
Society sets these immovable expectations for leadership positions. Despite many males having a miles-long headstart, you met and exceeded them. But that isn't enough because you are still a woman.
When Hillary Clinton ran, I was not an early supporter. But as the crowd thinned, and I compared her position on policies AND her extensive relevant experience I was determined to vote for her and support her campaign. At the time that she ran, Hillary Clinton was the most qualified person elected by either major party to ever run for the office of POTUS.
I want the best for US.
In my opinion, the GOP did not share my sentiment then, nor now.
How could you allow a person with ZERO political experience, who is as unapologetically racist, misogynistic , and ableist as Trump is, to represent your party?
Because personally, I would have quit the party that day.
Back in 2016, when it was announced the man with zero political experience would be the President of the United States of America....I was stunned.
And then I was terrified.
No previous political experience? Zero?
To run the country?This country?
They barely hire you to be a cashier and run the cash register without supervision without previous experience.
Other recent disappointments:
The National Fraternal Order of Police endorsed Donald Trump. A convicted felon and adjudicated rapist. How? We have so much work to do.
