"You all are probably going to vote for her anyway"
is the type of thinking that left us with
the unqualified Trump presidency
in the first place.
Qualified female leaders are viewed as being on equal
footing with someone with a male with less
experience, sexist, misogynist,
abusive, and incoherent.
That should infuriate us.
Refusing to vote for qualified women because they fail to be perfect while the male candidate could not be farther from perfect is sexism.
Donald Trump was not even close to being the most qualified candidate when he ran against Hillary Clinton.
He is not the most qualified candidate as he runs against Kamala Harris.
If women will not hire qualified women to lead, who will?
"Voting for the most qualified person because she is mixed with Black ancestry?"
What were we doing when we were voting for all the white men who have been elected with the aid of Black women?
Or when we recognized that in 2016, Donald Trump had absolutely ZERO policy-making experience and was unqualified to be the President of the United States....and therefore overwhelmingly supported the most qualified person to ever run for POTUS at that time.
She just happened to be a woman.
And the people (including women) who voted for the unqualified and inexperienced Donald Trump over the far more qualified and experienced Hillary Clinton; what were they basing their decision on?
If the criteria for voting for Donald Trump were based on something other than experience and qualifications, then what was it?
And if he was one of the worst presidents ever elected to POTUS, why would we even consider giving him a second chance?
What else did we expect? He had ZERO previous political experience. No other group of American citizens had ever voted for him to be the leader of anything. The job was too big for him. It still is.
We have an experienced, capable, and educated leader holding the office of the Vice-President of the United States of America. She's ready on day one. That person just happens to be a woman.
